Happy Socks: Happy Socks Africa Launch
Spreading happiness and colour to all over the world.
Swedish Sock and Underwear brand Happy Socks entered the African market via apparel licensee, The Kartal distribution. Fixer was commissioned to produce a content marketing campaign and product launch in partnership with retailer Fabiani at their flagship store at the V & A Waterfront.
The campaign concept centered around experimental creativity: placing 5 strategically selected influencers from a cross section of industries and disciplines: entertainment, sport, fashion, music with art photographer Nico Krijno and fashion stylist Anees Petersen. The group were given a time limit /countdown format with the brief to produce photographic content and key visuals to be used within the Happy Socks retail launch.
The Visuals were used as the instore display at the retail launch which was hosted at the Fabiani V&A Waterfront store. A cross section of persons from the fashion and retail space, the head of marketing from Happy Socks Sweden were in attendance along with the influencers, stylist and photographer themselves.
Happy Socks has gone onto enjoy to enjoy good sales numbers nationally both across retail partners, corporate gifting but also via the Kartal’s online platform. The brand launch provided the foundation to building an enduring partnership between The Kartal distribution and Happy Socks Sweden.
